Frank Yurasek, PhD, NMD, LAc

After receiving his BA and MA from the University of Notre Dame, Frank Yurasek enrolled at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where he completed his Masters of Science in TCM. He then went on to their sister school in China, Guanzhaou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he interned and completed his PhD in TCM, successfully defending his dissertation on "The Use of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Northern Illinois Council of Alcohol and Subtance Abuse, from 1989 to 2001, ". He also studied Kampo Herbal Medicine with Dr. Watanabe at The Kitasato Institute in Tokyo, Japan, where he was the first American accepted into the Japanese Oriental Medical Society. Dr. Yurasek also interned in Homeopathy with Dr. Rathna Alwa at the Sai Clinic for 3 years, and trained in Homotoxxcology with Drs. Alta Smits and Bruce Shelton of Heel, Inc. He recently completed his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the American Naturopathic Medical Institute and is enrolled in an advanced NMD program with Westbrook University.
